Mary Annice was born on October 6th, 1843. Mary Annice's father was John Keicher Boyd and her mother was Leah Anna Barb. Her paternal grandparents were Jeremiah Boyte and Susannah Keicher. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Phillip Melacthon, John Wesley Miller, James Columbus, Wilber Bascom, Abraham W., baby boy, Susan Caroline, Sarah Frances Amelia, Martha Elmery and Alice M.. She is the oldest of the eleven children.-
