His paternal grandfather is Albert Oscar Bennett and his paternal grandmother was Anna Arielmus Morris; his maternal grandparents are Harry Heath and Nora Teal. He had four brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Living, Living, Living, Living, Joyce Nora, Marjorie Ellen, Living and Living.
