Peter was born on July 27th, 1701 in Brookfield, MA. Peter's father was George Abbott and his mother was Elizabeth Ballard. His paternal grandparents were George Abbott and Sarah Farnum; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Ballard and Elizabeth Phillips. He had five brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named George jr., Uriah, Jacob, Moses, Obediah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah and Sarah. He died at the age of 84 in 1785 in Brookfield, Massechussetts.-
