Isreal was born on September 17th, 1755 in Essex Co., Virginia.1 Isreal's father was FRANCIS M. Meadows and his mother is Elizabeth Jennings Mangum. His paternal grandfather was THOMAS Meadows and his paternal grandmother is ANN Bourne. He had a brother named Lewis. He was the younger of the two children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Francis, James, Jeremiah Isaac, Jacob, John, Mary and Mollie. He died at the age of 72 on September 30th, 1827 in Estill Co., Kentucky.1 -
