Hird was born in 1789 in Georgia.1 Hird's father was George Heard and his mother is Ramey. His paternal grandfather was STEPHEN Heard and his paternal grandmother is MARY Faulkner. He had three sisters named Polly, No. 57 and No. 58. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Elizabth. He died at the age of 83 on October 13th, 1872 in Clay Co., Alabama. He was buried after 1871 in Millerville Baptist Church Cemetery, Millerville, Clay Co., AL.1 1 -
