George Heard 
George was born on August 8th, 1788 in Virginia.1 George's father was Thomas Heard and his mother was Heard. His paternal grandfather was STEPHEN Heard and his paternal grandmother is MARY Faulkner. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, Joseph, Thomas, Woodrow, Faulkner, Watts, No. 21, No. 24 and No. 25. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 on August 10th, 1858 in La Grange, Troup Co., Georgia. He was buried on August 10th, 1858 in Hill View Cemetery, La Grange, Troup Co., GA.1 1 General Notes

Wrote Ann Beattie and said he and family would be at Ann's wedding except for Ann's Aunt who was of delicate health. Indicated her fiance Joseph Marion Heard, was an honorable man with a hightemper.
George was Joseph Marion's ulcle.
