Ira Lucion Cales

Ira Lucion was born on June 29th, 1878.¹ Ira Lucion's father was Andrew Jackson Cales and his mother was Elizabeth Ellen Fry. His paternal grandparents were John Cales and Kesiah Meadows. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Henry Truman, Charles Nelson, George Arnett, John Oren, William Arnold, Ora Jackson, Arthur, Elmer James, Cora Emaline, Nancy Irene, Etta Ellen and Effie Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 44 on March 29th, 1923. He was buried in Salem Cemetery, Cowley Co., Kansas.¹¹
