married Ma rgar e t. He was d ead in 1400 , as ap p ears by the inquis iti
on

his son. H is widow , whos e parentage i s un known, married, in May 140

1427/8, while with so m e of his men, a ttackin g the hous e of John
Manners,
of Etal , near Ford. His widow Isabel al leged t hat he h ad been kil led
malic iou sly.  She m. 11 May 1 432, at Whitti ngham, Si r W i lliam
Lumley,
