Leuca De was born about 1180 in Bramber, Sussex, England. Leuca De's father was William III Th Baron De Braose and her mother was Maud Matilda De St Valery. Her paternal grandfather was William II De Braose and her paternal grandmother is Bertha De Pitres; her maternal grandparents were Bernard IV De St Valery and Eleanor De Domnart. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William IV The Younger De, John De, Matilda De and Margaret De. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died in 1236.General Notes
