Elizabeth (Betsy) was born on March 11th, 1798 in , Mercer/shelby, Ky. Elizabeth (Betsy)'s father was Jacob YOUNG and her mother was Rachel GOODNIGHT. Her paternal grandfather was John YOUNG and her paternal grandmother is Ann UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were John Hans Michael GOODNIGHT and Mary Landers. She had six brothers and six sisters, named John Landis, Male, Michael G., William Harrison, Solomon, Andrew Jackson, Mary Landis "Polly", Rachel Ann "Ann", Sarah (Sallie) Goodnight, Juliet, Female and Susan W. "Susie". She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 89 on December 21st, 1887 in Perry, Pike, Il. She was buried in Perry, Pike, Il.General Notes
