Jemima was born about 1678 in Colony Of, Virginia. Jemima's father was Thomas Youell Ewell and her mother was Anne LEE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas YOWELL and Ann STURMAN; her maternal grandparents were Richard Henry LEE and Anna Constable OWEN. She had a brother and five sisters, named Thomas, Dorcas, Ann, Elizabeth Ann, Penelope Ann and Winifred. She is the second youngest of the seven children.General Notes
