Bridget was born in 1579 in Stourton, Le Steeple, Nottinghamshire, England. Bridget's father was Alexander WHITE and her mother was Eleanor SMITH. Her maternal grandfather was William SMITH and her maternal grandmother is Katherine PORTER. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Roger, Thomas, Charles, Thomas Roger, Edward, William, Catherine, Catherine, Frances and Jane.
