His paternal grandfather was Alberic De VERE and his paternal grandmother is Beatrice (Beatrix) GAND (GHENT); his maternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzRichard De CLARE and Adeliza De CLERMONT. He had a brother and four sisters, named Robert De, Adeliza De, Rohese de, Juliane De and Adeliza. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died on December 26th, 1194.General Notes
