Claiborne Thaxton

Claiborne was born in 1787 in Of, , Halifax, Virginia. Claiborne's father was Peter Thaxton and his mother was Sarah Thaxton. His paternal grandparents were James X Thaxton and Elizabeth Clarke. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Susannah and Elizabeth N.. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 80 in 1867 in Halifax Co., VA.
