Ira J. TUCKER

Ira J. was born on December 4th, 1815 in Nc.  Ira J.'s father was Hiram Tucker and his mother was Catherine HENDRY.  His paternal grandfather is William Tucker. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, James S., Charles, Hiram Cromartie, Isaac David "Pink", Richard Thomas, John R. V., George Washington "Jeff", Anna Jane, Elizabeth M. (Eliza), Mary Catherine, Harriet Amanda, Hannah Malinda and Thankful Jemimah.  He died at the age of 64 on January 21st, 1880 in Crenshaw Co., Ala.
