Anna Dorne Thomae was born in 1550 in Yardley, Hastings, Northampton, England and her baptism took place in 1550 in Yardley, Hastings, England.  Anna Dorne Thomae's father was Thomas THORNE (DORNE) and her mother was Mary PUREFOY. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Anthony, Edward, Arthur, Arthuris Dorne, Thorney, Pender, Willm Dorne, Robert Dorne, Katherina Dorne, Susan, Susanna and Isabell Dorne.  She is the second oldest of the thirteen children.
