Elvira was born on November 1st, 1819 in Rochester, Monroe, Ny. Elvira's father was Jacob TEEPLES and her mother was Rhoda BENTLEY. Her paternal grandparents were George TEEPLES and Margaret SHIPMAN; her maternal grandparents were Greene BENTLEY and Dianna STRAIT. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Jacob Jr., George Bentley, Henry Luke, Catherine, Ocey, Nancy Ann, Nancy Ann, Mary, Roxy and Rhoda. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 67 on December 2nd, 1886 in Riverside, Custer, Id. She was buried on December 7th, 1886 in Franklin, Franklin Co., Id.General Notes
