James Stewart 
James was born in 1243 in Dundonald Castle, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. James' father was Alexander Stewart and his mother is Jean De Bute MacCrory. His paternal grandfather was Walter Stewart and his paternal grandmother is Beatrix De ANGUS; his maternal grandfather is James, Lord Of BUTE. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Alexander, John, Elizabeth, Mary, Hawise, Alice and Beatrix. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
