George Skakel 
George was born on July 16th, 1892 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. George's father was James Curtis Skakel and his mother was Grace Mary Jordan. His paternal grandparents are George Skakel and Sarah Sawyer; his maternal grandparents were German Nicholas Jordan and Sarah Virginia Hendricks. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, James Curtis Jr. and Margaret Virginia. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 63 on October 3rd, 1955 in near Union City, Oklahoma.General Notes
Cause of Death: Injuries sustained in plane crash when his old Corvairran out of fuel near Union City, Oklahoma.
Buried: St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
