Amanda was born on October 11th, 1899 in Riverton, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA. Amanda's father was Thomas Silcock (Silcox) and her mother was Annie Ostler. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Thomas Silcock and Jane Heath. She had five brothers and a sister, named Sidney Ostler, Ernest Ostler, Wilford Thomas, William Henry, Austin Stephen and Annie Violet. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 81 on November 26th, 1980 in Daley City, San Francisco Co., California. She was buried on December 2nd, 1980 in Sandy City Cem., Sandy, Salt Lake Co., Utah.-
