Ruth was born in 1635 and her baptism took place on August 25th, 1635 in Charleston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Ruth's father was Zechariah SYMMES and her mother was Sarah BAKER. Her paternal grandfather was William SYMMES and her paternal grandmother is Mary INGLERAM. She had three brothers and a sister, named William, Zechariah, Timothy and Rebecca.
