Couper SUTHERLAND

Couper was born in 1790 and his baptism took place on June 17th, 1790 in Thurso, Cthnss, Sctl. Couper's father is John SUTHERLAND and his mother is Christian HILL. His paternal grandparents are Hector SUTHERLAND and Barbara RIESS; his maternal grandparents are James HILL and Margaret FINLAYSON. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Sinclair, Donald, Nicholson, Hector, Robert, John, (2) Isabella, Couper and Marrion. He is the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
