James STEWART 
James was born on February 14th, 1827 in Greene County, In. James' father was Nathaniel STEWART and his mother was Dorcas Tabitha HUGHIE (ALSO HUEY). His paternal grandparents were James STEWART and Sarah FLESHMAN. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Nephi, (Pvt) Benjamin, Benjamin, William, William Preston, Nephi, Moroni, Sarah (or Sally) Ann and Dorcas. He was the second oldest of the ten children.
