Elizabeth SITTON 
Elizabeth was born on December 31st, 1788 in , , Nc. Elizabeth's father was Phillip SITTON and her mother was Winnifred BRADLEY. Her paternal grandfather is John SITTON. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Ambrose, Phillip, John, Laurence, Silas, Asa, Joseph, James, Winifred and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 69 on April 11th, 1858 in S. Mills River, Henderson Co.. She was buried in Gillespie/sitton Cem., S. Mills River, Henderson Co., Nc.General Notes

Elizabeth and Mathew were married in a religious ceremony in 1810. They had five sons and seven daughters, named John, Phillip, Harvey, James A., Wilson, Winnifred, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Isabella and Jane.

Harvey GILLESPIE
Harvey was born on June 18th, 1820 in Buncombe Co., Nc. He died at the age of 57 on August 19th, 1877 in Haywood Co., Nc. He was buried in Gillespie/sitton Cem., S. Mills River, Henderson Co., Nc.
