John Richard SHELTON 
John Richard was born on May 25th, 1827 in Tulmosden, Lab., Norfolk, England and his baptism took place there on June 19th, 1829. John Richard's father was Richard SHELTON OR SKELTON and his mother was Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. His paternal grandparents are John SKELTON and Moll RUSH; his maternal grandparents were John WILLIAMSON and Ann EWEN. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, James William, Robert, Richard, William, Ann Mary and Isabella. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 on October 22nd, 1883 in Mendon, Cache, Ut. He was buried on October 23rd, 1883 in City Cem, Mendon, Cache, Ut.General Notes
