Benjamin SHELDON 
Benjamin was born in 1697 in Northampton, Hartford, Mass. Benjamin's father was Thomas SHELDON and his mother was Mary Or Mercy HINSDALE. His paternal grandparents were Isaac SHELDON and Mary WOODFORD; his maternal grandparents were Samuel HINSDALE and Mehitable HINSDALE. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Josiah, Elisha, Mary, Rebecca, Rachel and Jemima. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
