Theodore ROOSEVELT 
Theodore was born on September 13th, 1887 in Oyster Bay, Long Island, New York. Theodore's father was Theodore Roosevelt and his mother was Edith Kermit CAROW. His paternal grandparents were Theodore ROOSEVELT and Martha BULLOCH. He had three brothers and a sister, named Kermit B., Archibald Bulloch, Quentin and Edith Carow. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 56 on July 12th, 1944 in Normandy, France.General Notes

Gen. Teddy Roosevelt Jr. was the first General to land on Normandy (Utah beach) on D-Day. He died on the Normandy battlefield of a sudden heart attack a few weeks later.
Teddy Jr. won the Medal of Honor for his gallantry on D-Day. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt presented the medal to his widow saying, "His father would have been the proudest."
Henry Fonda played Teddy Jr. in the film, "The Longest Day."
