Cyrus was born on February 16th, 1813 in , Botetourt, Virginia. Cyrus' father was Matthew Harvey RAYHILL and his mother was Catharine Wolfe. His paternal grandparents were Mathew RAYHILL and Esther STULL; his maternal grandparents were John WOLFE and Mary Magdalene UNKNOWN.
