Ivar "The Boneless" was born about 0787 in , , , Denmark.  Ivar "The Boneless"'s father was Ragnar "Lodbrok" SIGURDSSON and his mother is Aslaug SIGURDSDATTER.  His paternal grandfather was Sigurd "Ring" RANDVERSSON KING IN SWEDEN and his paternal grandmother is Alfhild GANDOLFSDATTER; his maternal grandparents are Sigurd "Fafnisbana" SIGMUNDSSON and Brynhild BUDLASDATTER. He had four brothers named Bjorn "Ironside", Sigurd "Snake-Eye", Hvitserk and Rognvald.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died in 0873.
