Marytjie was born in 1646 in Questgeest, Near Leider, Netherlands. Marytjie's father was Pieter Pieterszoon QUACKENBUSH and her mother was Maritgen Ariens Dochter. Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Janszoon QUACKENBOSCH and Nelletjen Pietersz Van Starrevelt. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Johannes Jan Pieterse, Wouter Pieterson, Reynier Pieterse, Folkje, Johannes Johannes, Maritje, Nelletje Petronella, Antje Pieterse, Magdalena, Jannetje and Magdalena. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 37 in December 1683 in Constepal Island, Albany, NY. She was buried in December 1683.General Notes
