Maud De was born in 1335 in Warkworth Castle, Alnwick, Northumberland, England.1   Maud De's father was Henry De PERCY and her mother was Idonea De CLIFFORD.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry De PERCY and Eleanor FITZALAN (ARUNDEL); her maternal grandparents were Robert De CLIFFORD and Maud de Clare. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry De, Richard, Roger De, Robert, Thomas De, William, Margaret De, Isabel De and Eleanor.  She was the second youngest of the ten children.  She died in Durham Cathedral, Durham, England.  She was buried in Cathedral, Durham, Durham, England.

‌Maud De and John were married in a religious ceremony in July 1357 in Warksworth Castle, Alnwick,  Northumberland,  England.1   They had two sons and six daughters, named Thomas, Ralph De, Alice De, Eleanor De, Idina Or Iolande, Maud (Matilda) De, Elizabeth and Miss.
