William Dekalb PRITCHETT 
William Dekalb was born on March 3rd, 1824 in , Smith County, Va. William Dekalb's father was John Anderson Pritchett and his mother was Nancy Hilton Albert JOHNSON. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Pritchett and Rebecca Anderson. He had a brother and five sisters, named Samuel Napoleon Boneparte, Eliza Ann, Susanna Jane, Mary Ann, Sarah Bryant and Nancy Emeline. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had eight half-sisters named Kitty Emiline Alice, Rebecca Rachel, Frances Elizabeth, Virginia Clementine, Kittie Emily Alice, Rachel Rebecca, Clementine Virginia and Frances Elizabeth.
