Thomas POLK

Thomas was born in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Thomas' father was William B. POLK and his mother was Nancy Knox. His paternal grandparents were Robert Bruce POLK (POLLOCK) and Magdalen (Porter) TASKER; his maternal grandparents are John Knox and Sarah UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James, David, William, Charles, Elizabeth and Jane. He died on June 26th, 1794 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina.
