Thomas was born about 1363 in Of Hull, York, Engl. Thomas' father was Michael De La POLE and his mother was Katherine WINGFIELD. His paternal grandparents were William De La POLE and Katherine De NORWICH; his maternal grandparents were John De WINGFIELD and Alienor (Eleanor) De GLANVILLE. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Michael De La, William, Richard, John, Margaret, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Anne, Anne and Anne. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
