Forover 40 years he was a member of the Church of Christ and wasalso a member of the I.O.O.F. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.Lucy Johnson PHILLIPS; and one son, John D. PHILLIPS. Serviceswere held at theFirst Baptist Church at 2:00 Monday withburial at Hearn Hill Cemetery.
