Clay Allen was born on January 26th, 1909. Clay Allen's father is Eugene PHILLIPS and his mother is Gracie Blossie BRYAN. His paternal grandparents were Thomas PHILLIPS and Henrietta HENDERSON; his maternal grandfather was Wilson Turner BRYAN and his maternal grandmother is Margaret PATTON. He has three brothers and three sisters, named Wilson Sylvester, Eugene, Ralph Waters, Grace Ruth, Margaret Henrietta and Lois Bryan. He is the third oldest of the seven children.-
