George NIXON 
George was born in 1784 in Brandywine, New Castle Co., Delaware. George's father was George Sr NIXON and his mother is Sarah SEEDS. His paternal grandfather was James NIXON; his maternal grandparents are Joseph SEEDS and Rachael PROCTOR. He had two brothers and a sister, named Francis, Seeds and Sarah. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 79 on July 3rd, 1863. He was buried in Gettysburg Cem, Rev War Cemetary, Gettysburg, Pa.General Notes
