James MURRAY 
James was born on August 19th, 1713 in Ewes, Dumfries, , Scotland. James' father was John MURRAY and his mother was Ann BENNETT. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Barbara, John, William, Andrew, Anna and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on November 8th, 1781 in Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts.General Notes

James and Barbara were married in a religious ceremony on May 14th, 1744 in Chesters, Ancrum, Roxburgh, Scotland. They had two sons and three daughters, and also two children of unknown gender, named Archibald, John, Dorothy, Jean, Elizabeth, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN.
