Joseph Dickinson MOORE 
Joseph Dickinson was born on October 21st, 1794 in Centre County, Pa. Joseph Dickinson's father was Joseph MOORE and his mother was Mary CLEMSON. His paternal grandfather was James MOORE and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth DICKENSON; his maternal grandfather was Thomas CLEMSON and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth STRODE. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Eli, Clemson, Thomas S., Elizabeth, Mary, Sophia, Sarah and Susanna. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 66 in 1860 in Indianola, Iowa.General Notes
