Jannetje Pieterse was born on May 8th, 1646 in Wallabout, Long Island, New York, United States and her baptism took place on May 12th, 1646 in Dutch Reform Ch, New Amsterdam, New York, New York.  Jannetje Pieterse's father was Pieter (Pierre) MONFOORT and her mother was Sarah De PLANCKEN (BLANCK).  Her paternal grandparents are Jean Jan MONTFOORT and Jacqueline MOREAU; her maternal grandparents are Jacques DE LE PLANCQUE and Sara FAUCONNIER. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Willem, Jan Pieterse, Pieter Pieterse, Willemtje Pieterse, Maria Pieterse, Marietje Pieters, Janica Or Jannetije, Sarah Pieterse, Sara Sarah and Willemtje Pieterse.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 77 in 1723 in , Monmouth, New York, United States.  She was buried in 1725 in Flatlands, Kings, New York.
