Robert MCKAY

Robert was born in February 1801 in Farr, Sthrln, Scotland. Robert's father was John MCKAY and his mother was Barbara MUNRO. His paternal grandparents are Isaac MCKAY and Hannah MCKAY OR MACKAY; his maternal grandfather was Donald MUNRO and his maternal grandmother is Catherine GORDON. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Isaac, Adam, William, Donald, Elizabeth(Betty), Catherine and Barbara. He is the fifth oldest of the nine children.
