Hannah was born about 1767 in Of Farr, Sthrln, Scotland.  Hannah's father is Isaac MCKAY and her mother is Hannah MCKAY OR MACKAY.  Her paternal grandfather was Adam MCKAY and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth MCKAY OR MACKAY; her maternal grandparents are Isaac MCKAY and Mrs. Isaac MCKAY. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, William, Neil, Niel, John, Cathrine, Elizabeth and Catherine.
