John MCELWAIN

John was born about 1742 in , , Pa.  John's father was Moses MCELWAIN and his mother is Agnes MILLER.  His paternal grandparents are Robert MCELWAIN and Isabel UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is James MILLER. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Moses, Robert, James, Samuel, John, Isabel, Violet and Jane.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.  He died in 1813 in , Harrison, Ky.
