Tormod was born about 1519 in Dunvegan Castle, Invrns, Sctl. Tormod's father was Alexander MAC LEOD and his mother was Miss CAMERON. His paternal grandfather was William MACLEOD and his paternal grandmother is Miss MC LEAN; his maternal grandfather is Ewen CAMERON. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Donald and Miss. He was the youngest of the four children. He died in March 1584.General Notes
