Mordecai was born on April 24th, 1686 in Hingham, Norfolk, Co., Mass.. Mordecai's father was Mordecai LINCOLN and his mother was Sarah JONES. His paternal grandparents were Samuel LINCOLN and Martha Lewis; his maternal grandparents were Abraham JONES and Sarah WHITMAN. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Elizabeth and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 50 on May 12th, 1736 in Amity Twp., Berks, Pa. He was buried on May 15th, 1736 in Friends Mtg., House Cemetery, Essex, Pennsylvania.General Notes
