Maria Katharine was born on February 1st, 1728 in Grossgartach, Wuerttemberg, Germany. Maria Katharine's father was Hans John Jacobus LINK and her mother was Anna Magdalena NEUWIRTH. Her paternal grandfather was Hans Bernard LINK and her paternal grandmother is Anna Catharina SCHUMAN; her maternal grandfather was Jeremias NEUWIRTH and her maternal grandmother is Margareta Christ. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John Adam, John Jacob, John Matthias, Rosina Elizabeth and Anna Maria Magdalena. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 77 on February 28th, 1805. She was buried in Rocky Hill Ch., Woodsboro, Frederick, Maryland.General Notes
