George LAWTON 
George was born on September 23rd, 1607 in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, England and his baptism took place on September 23rd, 1607. George's father was George LAWTON LAUGHTON and his mother is Isbell SMITH. His paternal grandfather was Thomas LAWTON and his paternal grandmother is Mrs Thomas LAWTON; his maternal grandparents are Mr. SMITH and Mrs SMITH. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Isaac, Bennett, Nicholas, Isaac, Sarah, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 86 on October 5th, 1693 in Portsmouth, Newport, Ri. He was buried in In His Portsmouth Orchard.General Notes
