Mary was born on May 28th, 1800 in Holly Spring Mm, Randolph, Nc. Mary's father was Peter Lawrence and her mother was Abigail HAYDOCK. Her paternal grandparents were John Bayley Lawrence and Nancy Ann Needham. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Isaac, Jonathan, Nathan Nicodemus, Susannah, Nancy, Elizabeth "Betsy" and Ruth. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 50 on March 24th, 1851 in , , North Carolina.General Notes
