Reuben Lee was born on January 1st, 1794 in Culpeper Co. VA. Reuben Lee's father was Thomas Hutchcraft and his mother is Nellie Harrison Apperson. His paternal grandfather is James Hutchcraft; his maternal grandparents were Francis Apperson and Betty Long. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, John, James, Nimrod, Elizabeth Frances and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 on July 4th, 1865 in Paris, Bourbon, KY. He was buried in July 1865 in Paris Cemetery.General Notes
