James L. Hutchcraft 
James L. was born on November 15th, 1827 in Bourbon Co. KY. James L.'s father was John Hutchcraft and his mother was Margaret Long McIlvain. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Hutchcraft and his paternal grandmother is Nellie Harrison Apperson; his maternal grandparents were Hugh McIlvain and Mary Brent. He had three sisters named Laura, Mary Brent and Anna Vanmeter. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 70 on November 8th, 1898 in Bourbon Co. KY. He was buried in 1993 in Hutchcraft Family Book page 25.-
